The COAT Flooring Seminar focuses on the products, techniques, and installation methods required to produce durable, high-performance decorative floors for residential and commercial environments.
Throughout the day, participants will work directly with the materials and explore the complete installation process, including:
Substrate assessment and preparation
Primers and moisture-control systems
Reinforcement and base preparation
Decorative finishes and application techniques
Transitions, edges and detailing
Sanding and surface refinement
Sealer selection and application
Protection and maintenance
Common installation problems and troubleshooting
The seminar combines technical instruction with extensive hands-on shop demonstrations and application practice, giving installers the opportunity to understand not only how the systems are applied, but how to approach flooring projects successfully in real-world conditions.
This seminar is intended for installation professionals and experienced tradespeople. Previous experience with trowel-applied materials, concrete coatings, epoxy flooring, plaster, stucco, drywall finishing, or similar trades is strongly recommended.
